I Went To New York!

I decided that the reason I am so bad at blogging is because there is too much that I want to share. It's time for me to just come to terms with the fact that some stuff just must be left out.
One of my favorite things about New York was the artist touch that you get just walking around the city. It was so fun for me and I'll honestly admit that, while seeing academic art in galleries and museums was fun, just walking around was half of the art experience. Here are some of my favorites:
This bathroom was so rad! I didn't get very good pictures regretfully.

Awesome Graffiti! On some of the buildings you can acquire a permit to graffiti and so because of that, the images are so intricate and beautiful because the artists can work without fearing being caught. I loved seeing some of those buildings!

Legos stuck to a tree. There were also legos stuck to brick walls in some places.

I have been wanting to start a blog to post all of my art projects, or at least the ones I am proud of. Here it is! I'm not sure how often I will find time to post in it, but hopefully enough that I will have a nice archive of my work.
As for the title; I notice that I over use the two word "Love" and "Best". I don't regret it though or wish to change that habit. I think there's an honesty when I say those words. I really do love so many things!

There are so many things that I would love to share, but to start I'm going to post some pictures of the Spiral Jetty. It's an art sculpture that was created in the Salt Lake. The Artist, forgive me but I can't remember his name, died only a few years after constructing it. He didn't mean for it to be permanent, but it became so beloved in the art world that it has been preserved.
In order to get there you have to drive to the po-dunk town of Corinne, Utah. From the freeway you take a dirt road(which used to be comparable to serious off roading, but they fixed it a bit...Which actually created a controversy). You drive for maybe twenty minutes and anyone who is slightly car sick prone, will be car sick by the end!
It's beautiful. The water is pink because the salt content is so high. We went as a field trip for school once. Right now because of the high water level, it is mostly submerged. We still braved the waters and walked to the center. The landscape around it is sooo pretty! I wish I would've gotten more pictures!
